Join our team as an Associate Scientist – Translational Chemical Biology and contribute to the development of novel strategies to deimmunize therapeutic enzymes and proteins.

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly engaged, motivated, and collaborative contract research scientist to join our Translational Chemical Biology group in Burnaby, Canada.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Evaluate and develop novel strategies to deimmunize therapeutic enzymes and proteins
  • Collaborate with experimental immunology and discovery proteomics teams to integrate immunogenicity data into ML algorithms
  • Support large molecule discovery efforts through close collaborations with data scientists

**What We Expect**

  • MSc in Immunology, Chemical Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical and/or Biological Engineering or a related field with 1-3 years industrial or academic research experience
  • Strong background in basic immunology and cell culture
  • Experience with immunoassays (e.g., flow cytometry, ELISA, ELISpot)
  • Understanding of basic protein biochemistry and structural characterization methods
  • Ability to learn new methods and work independently while also collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Self-driven, creativity, and willingness to work on difficult and high-impact problems
