Join the BC Cancer team as a Locum Radiation Oncologist in Prince George, British Columbia. This is a unique opportunity to work in a full-service cancer centre that provides comprehensive care to approximately 1100 new patients per year.
About the Role
- Provide clinical and academic services to cover temporary absences throughout the year.
- Work in a collaborative care team committed to excellence, participating in clinical, research, administrative, and educational activities.
- Participate in clinical trials groups and lead international trials.
- Have a clinical appointment at UBC Faculty of Medicine, Department of Surgery, Division of Radiation Oncology, and have privileges through both the Provincial Health Services Authority, and our partner health authority at the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia.

- BC Cancer - Prince George is a full-service cancer centre with on-site assets including CT simulation, two linear accelerators with cone beam CT, Intensity Modulation, VMAT, SABR, FSRT, and a vaginal vault brachytherapy program.
- The centre has collaborative and innovative nursing, physics, dosimetry, and radiation therapy staff.
- Provides medical oncology, diagnostic (in partnership with Northern Health Authority), and support services.
