We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at BC Cancer in Prince George, British Columbia. As a Medical Oncologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive cancer care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cancer care, including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and palliative care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide oncology consultation and patient care
  • Participate in teaching and research activities
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cancer care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cancer
  • Conduct research and participate in clinical trials
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine
  • Certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology
  • Eligibility for licensing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
