Environmental Professional Job Description

Arcadis is seeking an Environmental Professional to join our team in Vancouver, BC, with the ability to travel as required. The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, engineering, or biology and will be responsible for conducting fieldwork, site inspections, and data management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct fieldwork, including groundwater sampling, soil characterization, and remediation monitoring
  • Perform site inspections, phase 1 site assessments, and compliance audit support
  • Manage data, write reports, and prepare work plans, letters, and memorandums
  • Conduct project-related research and prepare periodic status/program reports
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field
  • 3+ years of related environmental work experience
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for field work
Key Attributes:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and writing skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • A commitment to Health and Safety excellence
