About the Opportunity

Aecon is seeking a highly skilled Lead Planner to support the construction of Canada's first Small Modular Reactor on the SMR-X Project. As part of an alliance agreement, Aecon has been awarded a contract with Ontario Power Generation to validate the project's design, procurement, and site preparation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring data integrity across the project life cycle.
  • Perform resource planning and analysis, forecasting labor, material, and equipment requirements.
  • Conduct productivity analysis of construction operations and verify estimates.
  • Prepare progress reports and dashboards for internal and external clients.
  • Analyze schedule variance, float, and trending, monitoring schedule KPIs.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in planning, scheduling, and managing complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Earned Value Management principles.
  • Expert-level knowledge of project planning and scheduling software, including Primavera P6 and TILOS.
