GEMTEC Consulting Engineers and Scientists Limited is seeking a highly skilled Marine Inspector to join our team. As a Marine Inspector, you will be responsible for providing inspection services and associated documentation for our marine projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field inspections and document as-built conditions and construction site activities;
- Review project drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards;
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues;
- Develop and maintain accurate and detailed inspection reports;
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients and colleagues;
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices;
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements:
- Experience working in civil construction and materials testing;
- College level diploma and/or university degree in a relevant field;
- Excellent communication and documentation skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Valid driver's license.
