About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team at Konecranes. As a key member of our material handling solutions team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance of electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer locations, adhering to all corporate safety policies and guidelines.
  • Perform electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic troubleshooting to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.
  • Document findings and make corrective recommendations to customers, including written safety notifications and proposals for repairs.
  • Consult with customers to discuss repair and safety-related issues, providing recommendations to improve their safety and productivity.
  • Complete and submit electronic documentation, obtaining customer signatures and acceptance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry codes and regulations, such as CSA, OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, and HMI.
  • Maintain accurate and professional documentation, including work packages and other required documents.
  • Communicate effectively with the service office and assigned coordinator, adhering to established practices.
  • Maintain company-issued equipment, vehicles, and assets in a safe and proper working order.
Requirements
  • A recognized trade qualification as a Journeyman Electrician, Journeyman Millwright, or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in industrial electrical or mechanical technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Good driving record, valid driver's license, and ability to work at heights.
  • Excellent computer, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work overtime, travel, and work out of town as required.
