Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Asset Protection Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As an Asset Protection Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure and effective work environment for all customers, associates, visitors, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily patrols of the facility to ensure store security and validate that doors and showcases are secure and functioning properly.
  • Make external arrests when necessary and investigate instances of financial and physical shrink.
  • Support store evacuation procedures in case of fire or other emergency and participate in store task team responsibilities as required.
  • Conduct investigations as assigned, including instances of internal theft and/or dishonesty, matters relating to external organized retail crime, and cases assigned through Walmart Canada Global Ethics.
  • Communicate information from different sources and effectively clarify issues for others.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Security Guard License and a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures. Preferred qualifications include experience in a similar role and excellent communication skills.
