Job Summary

The Financial Analyst, Project Accounting is a key role that provides financial analysis and support to client departments under the direction of the Manager, Project Accounting.

This position requires a strong understanding of financial principles and the ability to analyze and interpret financial data to support strategic decision-making.

The Financial Analyst will work closely with the Manager, Project Accounting and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial information is available and used for project reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial analysis and support to client departments
  • Develop and maintain financial models and reports
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial information is available and used for project reporting
  • Work closely with the Manager, Project Accounting and other stakeholders to ensure financial information is accurate and up-to-date
  • Develop and implement best financial management practices
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles and the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.

They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

A minimum of 5 years of related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.

The candidate will also have a strong understanding of project costing principles, including budgets, estimates to completion, and estimates at completion.
