Health Careers in Saskatchewan is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist Staff to join our team. As a Mental Health Therapist Staff, you will be responsible for providing ongoing mental health and psychosocial client services.
Key Responsibilities- Screen and assess client needs and determine relevant treatment plans.
- Initiate or participate in community development initiatives and evaluate PHC initiatives within the site.
- Promote quality health care outcomes by working within established standards of practice to ensure that clients receive a high standard of primary health care.
- Experience in applicable computer software/programs.
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Nursing or other allied health profession.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Registered/eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing body.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Sound judgment, tact, initiative, and high standards of integrity/responsibility.
- Knowledge of normal and abnormal development.
- Knowledge in developmental psychology.
