As a Store Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a high level of store appearance.
About the Role:
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction through excellent sales service and product knowledge.
- Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
- Build productive relationships with wholesale and retail customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
- Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures.
- Meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Maintain precise work order files and formulas, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Pull and stock products from the sales floor or warehouse, maintaining a high level of inventory control.
- Tint and mix products to customer specifications, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Stock shelves and set up displays, maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
- Clean store equipment, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
- Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
- Assist in making deliveries, as needed, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas, ensuring a high level of store appearance.
- Remain knowledgeable on products offered, discussing available options and making recommendations.
- Comply with inventory control procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Suggest ways to improve sales, driving growth and revenue.
Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
- Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- Have at least a High School diploma or GED.
- Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
- Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products.
- Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
