Assistant Executive Housekeeper Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Hilton Toronto. As a key member of our Housekeeping department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing Housekeeping operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Monitor and maintain high operating standards in all Housekeeping areas, adhering to hotel brand standards.
  • Perform routine inspections of Housekeeping areas and report any issues to the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Implement and enforce Housekeeping policies and procedures, including Health and Safety and security protocols.
  • Support the development and training of Housekeeping Team Members to ensure excellent guest service.
  • Assist with managing staff performance issues and provide ongoing training to support the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Deputise for the Executive Housekeeper in their absence.
Requirements:
  • Housekeeping experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity, preferably in a hotel or leisure setting.
  • A high school certificate or equivalent.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain high levels of customer service.
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
  • Knowledge of Workplace, Health, Safety, and Hygiene is essential.
