Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team of produce associates, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure excellent customer service and sales results.
  • Department Operations: Assist the Team Leader in managing daily operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays.
  • Customer Service: Foster a positive and welcoming environment for customers, responding promptly to their needs and ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with the Team Leader to maintain accurate inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and ensure efficient receiving and stocking procedures.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of produce associates, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with the Team Leader, other department leaders, and store management to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience: 18+ months of retail experience, with 6+ months of supervisory experience in a produce or similar department.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team. Strong inventory management and customer service skills, with a focus on providing exceptional shopping experiences.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
