On behalf of our client, we are seeking aERP Test Leadfor a 8 month contract. As the ERP Test Lead, you will report to the Program Test Lead and be accountable for providing leadership and direction to all aspects of the ERP testing effort for the initial release

Here is what you'll be doing on a day to day basis:

  • Provide leadership and direction to team of testers across the System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing and post go-live hypercare activities;
  • Follow the defined program test strategy, approach and toolset;
  • Drive testing activities based on a solid understanding of the business drivers, business needs, business risks, technical solution and technical risks;
  • Provide hands-on support to your team; resolve technical and non technical issues and manage risks;
  • Collaborate with the program leadership team;
  • Report progress of testing and including a representation of the software quality to leadership teams, project managers, and stakeholders as required;
  • Facilitate testing signoffs in support of launch.

Here is the type of person we are looking for:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a software development environment including 5+ years of experience in software testing;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a test leadership role;
  • Proven experience leading a test team on large scale system implementation;
  • Knowledgeable in financial systems including leading the testing of GL, Cash Management, AR/AP, Expenses, Asset Management, Project Costing, Tax, BCEA and Procurement modules.
  • Proven ability to lead end to end testing of month end, quarter end and year end processes.
  • Proven experience interfacing with the client, implementation partner, technical teams, external vendors;
  • Proven leadership, relationship building, influencing skills and ability to deliver results;
  • Hands-on knowledge of software testing methodologies and practices;
  • Proven detail-oriented personality along with analytical and problem solving abilities;
  • Experience with diverse testing tools and utilities;
  • Experience with SaaS based ERP solutions, ideally Oracle Fusion Cloud;
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills is a must.
