ENERGY SPECIALIST
The Opportunity
This position if for a full time Energy Specialist position within Energy Network Services. The successful candidate will be involved with multiple projects and programs, collecting data from site that is used in the development and deployment of energy efficiency initiatives for our client portfolios. In this position you will be exposed to a variety of lighting technologies, controls and building automation systems; across a wide range of industries.
Primary Tasks:
- Conduct specific system audits or full ASHRAE Level 2 building audits within client facilities
- Use our tools and systems to enter the data for use in calculations and energy modelling
- Represent both the company and themselves in a professional manner while acting as a subject matter specialist in the field
- Work with our team of engineers and system specialist to understand our clients' building loads based on industry standards
- Reviewing construction drawings and documents
- Energy incentive applications
- Adhering to Health & Safety Department/JHSC safety requirements at each of the clients' facilities
Skills Required for Position:
- Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment
- Ability to learn detailed reporting processes and industry standards
- Critical thinking
- Strong communication skills in English, both Verbal and Written
- Strong mathematical understanding

Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Technologist, Interior Design or Applied Science from a University or College of recognized standing
