Job Title: Manager, Wholesale Platform Finance, Controls & Governance – Accounting Policy

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to lead the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures for our Wholesale Platform.

Job Description:

The Manager, Wholesale Platform Finance, Controls & Governance – Accounting Policy will be responsible for providing accounting advisory services to the Wholesale Platform, seeking out opportunities to improve operational accounting processes, and driving consistency of financial reporting globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support the Wholesale platform in the management of the implementation of new IFRS accounting projects
  • Support the development of project plans and collaborate with the Global Wholesale Finance team to set up and achieve milestones in accordance with planned objectives
  • Research and provide technical accounting guidance, as well as addressing specific technical accounting queries raised by multiple stakeholders
  • Act as a liaison and subject matter expert on all topics relating to new Financial instrument standards
  • Support the Platform in updating, revising and clarifying existing accounting policies as written by the Accounting Policy Group

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of high level involvement in Financial reporting or accounting advisory
  • Accounting designation (CPA)
  • Some understanding of external disclosure requirements
  • Some exposure to accounting policy/technical accounting analysis (IFRS)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and collaborative skills
