Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Grocery Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting with product location, and resolving customer issues.
  • Review and manage workload for the Grocery area of the store, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Work merchandise, cap bins, and stock picks to support the Customer Availability Process, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Complete price changes and accurately sign merchandise, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Print, set, and finalize Modulars, set features, and merchandising areas, ensuring a visually appealing and well-organized store environment.
  • Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
  • Assist and support other task teams as needed, in order to fulfill customer expectations and achieve business objectives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
