Job Title: Grocery Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Grocery Clerk to join our team at The David Sullivan Group of Companies LTD.-IGA#016. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring accurate inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and making recommendations to customers.
  • Inventory Management: Restock shelves, maintain inventory levels, and ensure accurate pricing and labeling.
  • Store Maintenance: Clean and maintain the store environment, including floors, shelves, and display areas.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, resolve customer issues, and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail or customer service role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.

Physical Demands:

  • Bending: Bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
