Our Project Management team is looking for a Assistant Project Manager / Project Controls to join us in Ottawa.

What You Get To Do

Develop work breakdown structures (WBS)
Create a high-level master schedule that incorporates the initial CPM schedule and the design team & contractors' schedule
Track critical activities and changes to the critical path impacting the project
Track program milestones and interdependencies
Utilize industry accepted methodologies to analyze delays
Provide information on items impacting the project schedule
Responsible for spotting the critical path, as well as proffering alternatives to regain slippage to the schedule
Networks regularly promoting the business, cross-selling and building new contacts and enhancing client relationships; resolves issues promptly
Familiar with the local market, key industry players and upcoming projects
Provides regular updates to the project management team members on the progress of individual work
General understanding of who our clients are and the terms of our engagement
Be proactive; seek as much feedback as possible

What You'll Bring
Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience as a planner/scheduler on capital projects, including design and construction phases
Extensive experience with P6 and Microsoft Project
University Degree or equivalent to any of the following, Construction Project Management, Architecture or Structural/Civil Engineering, etc.
