Seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care to patients in a hospital setting, utilizing advanced knowledge and skills to diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and stable chronic conditions.

Job Description

Position is located at La Ronge Health Centre, providing care to individuals, families, and communities.

Job requires a strong understanding of nursing principles, as well as the ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing clinical assessment and treatment strategies for patients
  • Building partnerships with individuals, families, and communities
  • Supporting inter-professional collaboration and participating in continuous improvements
  • Providing holistic care to patients

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Level C Certificate (BCLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS)
  • Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale certificate (CTAS)
