We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the La Ronge Health Centre. As a key member of our Integrated Nursing Unit, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of common acute illnesses and stable chronic conditions.
- Order diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform specific procedures as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that reflect a patient-centered approach.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) as a RN (NP).
- Valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Completion of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) program.
- Current certifications in Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Basic Cardiac Life Support Level C Certificate (BCLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS), and Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale certificate (CTAS).
