About the Role:
Reporting to the Manager, Partnership Services, this position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service in the activation of partnership agreements and delivery of partner objectives. In addition, the successful candidate will be leading the activation on a portfolio of Sponsorship accounts through project management, sales cycle support and a commitment to service excellence.

Your Focus in this Role:

• Leads the activation on a portfolio of Sponsorship accounts through project management, sales cycle support and a commitment to service excellence

• Ensures 100% fulfillment of partnership agreements on a yearly basis

• Develops and executes upon strategic marketing and project plans

• Maintains and fosters relationships with Corporate Partners at all levels while providing ongoing support

• Responsible for the development and execution of corporate and Partner events

• Activates promotions and events, both in person and digitally

• Responsible for developing and maintaining accurate and thorough budgets

• Records, compiles and distributes relevant project results, proof of performance and mid-season monitoring

• Provides day to day support to the Corporate Sales Function

• Actively participates in sales calls and meetings

• Prepares innovative partnership proposals

• Leads and participates in brainstorming and ideation sessions

• Prepares timely and relevant partnership and program recaps

• Maintains accurate records to validate the execution of agreements

• Conducts research on industry competitors

• Enters and analyzes client data and records within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Module

Education, Experience and Skills:

• Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in a relevant Marketing/Communications or Business Program

• 3+ years of experience in consumer marketing or brand management in addition to experience in a sales/customer service role

• Some Knowledge of television, digital and/or radio advertising considered an asset

• Strong knowledge of best practices in corporate customer service

• Working knowledge of the corporate sponsorship industry

• Strong marketing project management experience

• Strong computer capabilities with Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint, Word and Excel)

• Significant experience in the development of PowerPoint presentations

• Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other CRM platform considered an asset

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• High level of poise and professionalism

• Ability to be innovative and to provide viable business solutions

• Excellent interpersonal skills in order to communicate with diverse internal and external clients

• Passionate about a career in sales and marketing within the sports and entertainment industry

• Ability to prioritize workload and solve problems quickly

• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team environment

• Ability to work extended or unpredictable hours on weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed
