Marketing Coordinator - 21-month contract

We are looking for a marketing coordinator who:

Has 2-3 years of marketing experience. Has a post-secondary diploma or degree in marketing, communications, event management, or a related field. Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills. Is knowledgeable in event management standards and practices. Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Can manage multiple tasks simultaneously and handle unexpected changes efficiently. Is detail-orientated. Is skilled in using social media tools for post scheduling and reporting. Has experience with WordPress or similar content management systems and implementing SEO tactics. Has reliable transportation to attend and to transport materials to local events; mileage compensated.

General tasks

Coordinate and oversee event planning and management, including preparation of materials, on-site logistics, and attendee engagement for firm-sponsored community events. Capture high-quality visual content at events, such as photographs and videos, for internal documentation and promotional use. Handle external inquiries regarding sponsorships and partnerships with professionalism and promptness. Implement social media strategies, create organic content and utilize performance metrics to enhance audience interaction. Support regular website content updates. Publish blog posts after conducting a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) review. Oversee the inventory of event-related branded materials, ensuring their availability and quality for distribution. Design and execute email marketing campaigns. Travel to various event locations within London and occasionally throughout Southwestern Ontario, utilizing reliable transportation as needed. Occasional evening and weekend work is required for on-site event support.
