About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a key member of our community mental health team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals and families affected by mental illness and substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for clients with complex mental health needs.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including psychotherapy, counseling, and case management.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  4. Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services as needed.
  5. Conduct group therapy and educational sessions to promote mental health awareness and skills development.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and service providers to ensure access to comprehensive care.
  7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as social work, counseling, or psychology.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with clients with mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Valid Class V British Columbia driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.
  • Eligibility for registration with a relevant professional association.
