Key Responsibilities
  • Zoning and organizing the grocery department to ensure a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
  • Rotating stock and checking for expired products to maintain high-quality merchandise.
  • Ensuring accurate pricing and signage of merchandise to prevent errors and maintain customer trust.
  • Following proper food safety and handling procedures to protect our customers and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Adhering to sanitation and cleaning procedures to maintain a clean and healthy store environment.
  • Processing orders, managing clearance and markdowns, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Ensuring the department is fully stocked and ready for business, and maintaining a high level of visual merchandising.
  • Following Health and Safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all associates.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a grocery or retail environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
