Agency Partner Development Manager

As a key pillar within the North America Partnerships team, this role will accelerate merchant acquisition through agency partners, supporting Shopify's regional revenue growth strategy.
The Partner Development Manager will work closely with local agency partners, the Merchant Success team, Sales Reps, Partner Marketing, and Solutions Engineer to extend Shopify's GTM reach and drive revenue through partners.
Responsibilities:

Business Planning with Partner:
- Develop a multi-year commercial strategy with partners
- Conduct quarterly business reviews

Sales Plays & Lead Generation (Activating Portfolio):
- Develop and adopt sales plays to ensure high productivity and performance of partner portfolio
- Co-develop and execute lead generation activities (VIP events, Conferences, Webinars) with support from regional partner marketing
-
Co-sell:
- Support inbound and outbound co-selling in collaboration with sales and marketing (Account Based Marketing, Partner Solution Selling)
- Oversight of complex deals through to launch, on behalf of partner
-
Performance Management:
- Forecasting and portfolio analysis
- Facilitation of ongoing enablement
Qualifications:
- SaaS account management, partner, and/or sales experience
- Strong knowledge of Shopify Platform
- Experience in the e-commerce industry (business requirements, technical trends, addressable market)
- Strong knowledge of local technical solutions in market
- Proven partner/channel sales or account management experience
- Experience in working with Agencies, SIs, and other eCommerce Platforms
- Proven track record in supporting large or complex sales cycles
- Conversant in enterprise products, solutions, and technology strategies with the ability to convert current knowledge and skills to our partner ecosystem
