About the Role:
We're seeking a highly organized and creative individual to join our Marketing team. As a Communication and Content Specialist, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing content strategies that drive engagement and conversions. Your expertise will help us tell our story, build our brand, and connect with our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collateral Creation:
- Contribute to topic ideation for posts, articles, and advertorials.
- Write, proofread, and update public relations and marketing materials.
- Develop content for our website, including press releases, project profiles, and product pages.
- Conduct interviews with stakeholders for use in materials.
- Ensure consistent brand tone/voice across all marketing collateral.
- Social Media:
- Develop and maintain our social media calendar.
- Help maintain our social media presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Liaise with other WhiteWater offices on translations and details.
- Email Marketing:
- Responsible for the creation and distribution of seasonal and campaign-related newsletters.
- Market Research:
- Conduct competitive intelligence research.
- Stay up to date on project openings and details.
- Communicate with clients on images, videos, logos, and testimonials.
- Award Entries and Industry Memberships:
- Work with the team to coordinate award entries.
- Track speaker opportunities and support/coordinate speaker submissions and events.
- Asset Management:
- Ensure multimedia libraries are up to date.
- Manage brochure inventory and version control.
- Internal Communications:
- Support HR with internal communications.
- Help keep the Marketing intranet homepage content fresh.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3-5 years of working experience in a similar Marketing role.
- 1-2 years of social media and web applications experience.
- Post-secondary education in Marketing and/or Communications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional grammar, spelling, and accuracy.
- Highly organized, with the ability to independently manage schedules and meet deadlines.
- Strong skills with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Working knowledge of WordPress.
- Video editing skills are a bonus.
