Join our team at theScore, a leading digital media and sports betting company, as a Content Editor. As a key member of our Copy Editing team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the tone and style of our in-house content, ensuring it is engaging, informative, and meets the high standards of our audience.

About the Role
  • Edit and publish posts produced by our team of news editors across various sports leagues, including NBA, NHL, MLB, NFL, NCAA football and basketball, soccer, tennis, golf, and MMA
  • Edit captions for video and third-party content to comply with our editorial guidelines
  • Provide editorial guidance and constructive feedback to news editors
  • Adhere to our editorial policies and guidelines
  • Other duties as required
About You
  • Extensive knowledge of sports, particularly the four major professional sports leagues, as well as NCAA football and basketball, soccer, tennis, golf, and MMA
  • Flexibility with regards to scheduling and ability to work nights and weekends
  • Great attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with social media
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to take on other projects as they come up
  • Previous experience in sports media preferred but not required
  • Journalism degree preferred
