Job Description:

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing purchase order requests and creating orders in the ERP software
  • Ensuring projects are properly charged and following up on open purchase orders
  • Monitoring costs and budgets for corporate projects
  • Supporting departments in requesting quotes and negotiating with suppliers
  • Reviewing agreements and prices with suppliers and maintaining relationships
  • Reconciling transactions paid with corporate credit cards
  • Performing annual assessments of corporate suppliers
  • Helping to improve procurement methods and systems

Requirements:

  • Specialized graduate degree or equivalent training in Procurement or Administration
  • At least five years of experience in procurement or relevant experience
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written
  • Asset: Knowledge of an ERP like Maconomy
  • Asset: Experience with recovery and logistics
