Job Overview

We are seeking a Delivery Agent to join our team at Canada Post. As a key member of our delivery network, you will play a vital role in ensuring that Canadians receive their mail and packages on time.

About the Role

  • You will be responsible for sorting and preparing mail and packages for delivery, loading and driving a postal vehicle, and delivering mail and packages to customers on your route.
  • You will work independently but as part of a larger team, communicating with customers and colleagues as needed.

Requirements

  • You must have a valid Class 5 or Class G driver's license with a safe driving record for at least 3 years.
  • You must be physically able to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) regularly throughout the day.
  • You must be able to work in all types of weather.
  • You must be available to be on-call and work between 5h00 am and 8h00 pm.
  • You must be able to read, write, and speak English and/or French.
