Dans le cadre de ses ententes avec ses différents clients, Procom est actuellement à la recherche d'un Administrateur SAP Basis pour une entreprise dans le domaine des médias Notre client est situé à Montréal.

Description des tâches et responsabilités - Administrateur SAP Basis
Les responsabilités du poste incluent :
- Mise en œuvre et maintenance de plusieurs instances SAP : Administration du système de base SAP ECC 6.0, y compris d'autres solutions SAP comme SRM, Portal, BW & GRC;
- Bonne compréhension de l'intégration/installation de produits tiers.
Administration/gestion de Solution Manager;
- Introduire des changements techniques dans l'environnement en utilisant une approche structurée qui minimise le risque et qui permet d'obtenir une fiabilité, une disponibilité et des performances élevées pour chaque instance SAP;
- Développer et maintenir la documentation du système pour toutes les instances SAP et collaborer avec l'équipe de développement ABAP pour aider à la mise en place des interfaces SAP pertinentes;
- Coordonner la gestion et la maintenance des systèmes;
- Maintenir l'intégrité du paysage SAP en gérant le SAP CTS pour s'assurer que tous les transports SAP pertinents sont correctement promus;
- Surveillance des systèmes SAP (processus de travail, utilisateurs, journaux système, vidages courts, verrous, traces dev, espace disque);
- Travailler avec d'autres équipes/collègues de T&I comme SysOps et DBA pour coordonner et planifier la maintenance appropriée pour les besoins de patchs liés aux OS et DB;
- Recueillir, documenter et réviser les exigences dans les documents de conception technique basés sur une compréhension totale de la fonctionnalité requise;
- Préparer des études de faisabilité pour les nouvelles technologies, ou pour l'optimisation des zones de développement, y compris l'estimation détaillée;
- Participer à la planification et à la mise en œuvre des mises à niveau du système SAP. Rechercher et proposer des options et des solutions aux problèmes ou aux améliorations, conformément aux meilleures pratiques SAP;
- Travailler en collaboration avec les équipes fonctionnelles et ABAP et les autres équipes T&I (Network, IDM, SysOps, DBA, Etc.);
- Identifier les besoins de mise à niveau ou d'amélioration lorsque la capacité technique actuelle ne répond pas aux exigences du client, sur la base de problèmes récurrents ou de l'avenir;
- Développer des plans de tests techniques et une stratégie de test pour les tests unitaires;
- Développer des stratégies et des approches d'intégration en collaboration avec d'autres groupes et partenaires;
- Participer aux séances sur les leçons apprises et fournir des commentaires à ce sujet;
- Concevoir, tester et déployer des solutions et appliquer les meilleures pratiques de l'industrie pour ce faire;
- Se tenir au courant des fonctionnalités nouvelles et à venir des applications prises en charge;
- Fournir des estimations basées sur les besoins (également requis sur une base de ticket par ticket) ;
- Contribuer aux activités et aux plans du projet;
- Développer/tester/déployer des stratégies pour répondre aux besoins des utilisateurs de l'interface utilisateur SAPGUI de SAP;
- Améliorer les performances et résoudre les problèmes;
- Installation et configuration de tous les systèmes et applications SAP;
- Soutenir nos stratégies de sauvegarde/restauration pour tous nos systèmes SAP;
- Gestion et création de rôles de sécurité et gestion des utilisateurs dans nos environnements SAP.
Exigences du poste - Administrateur SAP Basis
- Baccalauréat en informatique ou équivalent, ou diplôme d'études collégiales avec expérience pertinente;
- Minimum de cinq (5) ans d'expérience dans le rôle d'administrateur de base SAP utilisant la technologie SAP Netweaver pour nos solutions d'applications SAP (ECC, SRM, BW, Portal,GRC & SolMan);
- Expertise de niveau supérieur dans les domaines de l'administration des systèmes SAP (Unix/Linux) et de l'analyse et de la conception solides;
- Connaissance approfondie de la suite logicielle SAP;
- Connaissance approfondie des meilleures pratiques et des normes SAP;
- Au moins cinq (5) ans d'expérience dans la documentation, l'analyse, la recherche et la conception de solutions au sein d'une entreprise de moyenne à grande taille utilisant SAP et un système de gestion des ressources humaines;
- Connaissance approfondie des méthodologies de développement de systèmes et du cycle de vie des projets, y compris la mise en œuvre d'au moins un grand projet de bout en bout;
- Posséder une expérience de l'utilisation d'outils tels que SAP Solution Manager, ainsi que des outils de productivité Google (ou similaires) pour concevoir et documenter vos changements;
- Familiarisé avec les méthodologies et les outils de gestion des changements et des incidents (ITSM, ITIL) ;
- Une certification ou une formation SAP, ainsi qu'une connaissance des pratiques Agile pour les spécifications et les tests ne sont pas obligatoires, ;
- De solides compétences en communication, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit, en anglais sont requises ; le français est considéré comme un atout important. ;
- La capacité à communiquer en termes techniques ou commerciaux, selon le public visé, est un atout important.

SAP Basis Administrator
As a part of its agreements with its various clients, Procom is currently seeking a SAP Basis Administrator for a company in the media sector. Our client is located in Montréal.

Job details -SAP Basis Administrator
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Implementing and maintaining multiple SAP instances : SAP ECC 6.0 Core system administration including other SAP solutions like SRM, Portal, BW & GRC. Good understanding of integration/installation of 3rd party products;
- Introduce technical changes in the environment using a structured approach that minimizes risk and achieves high reliability, availability and performance of each SAP instance;
- Solution Manager administration/management;
- Developing and maintaining system documentation for all SAP instances and collaboration with ABAP development team in helping with relevant SAP Interfaces documentation;
- Maintaining the integrity of the SAP landscape by managing the SAP STMS to ensure all relevant SAP transports are promoted properly;
- Coordinating the management and maintenance of the systems;
- Working with other T&I teams/colleagues like SysOps & DBA to coordinate and plan proper maintenance for OS & DB related patching needs;
- Monitoring SAP systems (work processes, users, system logs, short dumps, locks, dev traces, disk space) ;
- Collect, document and review requirements into technical design documents based on a full understanding of the functionality required;
- Participate in the planning and implementation of SAP system migration, unicode conversion and upgrades. Research and propose options and resolutions to issues or enhancements in line with SAP best practice;
- Prepare feasibility studies for new technologies, or for optimization of development areas, including detailed estimation;
- Identify needs for upgrading or enhancements where current technical capacity does not meet client requirements based on recurring issues or future needs;
- Work collaboratively with the functional and ABAP teams and other T&I teams(Network, IDM, SysOps, DBA, Etc.) ;
- Develop integration strategies and approaches in collaboration with other groups and partners;
- Develop technical test plans and test strategy for unit testing;
- Participate and provide feedback in Lessons Learned sessions;
- Design, test and deploy solutions and apply industry best practices in doing so;
- Keep abreast of new and upcoming functionality within the supported applications;
- Provide estimates based on requirements (also required on a ticket by ticket basis) ;
- Provide input into project activities and project plans;
- Development/testing/deployment strategies for supporting our users needs for SAP's SAPGUI UI;
- Fine tuning performance and troubleshooting problems;
- Installation, migration, unicode conversion and configuring of all SAP Systems and applications;
- Support our Backup/restore strategies for all of our SAP Systems;
- Managing and building security roles and user management in our SAP environments.

Mandatory Skills -SAP Basis Administrator
- Minimum five (5) years of experience occupying the role of a SAP Basis using SAP Netweaver technology for our SAP applications solutions (ECC, SRM, BW, Portal, GRC & SolMan);
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, or College Diploma with relevant experience;
- Broad knowledge of the SAP software suite, SAP migration and Unicode conversion path
Senior level expertise in the areas of SAP systems administration(Unix/Linux) and solid analysis & design skills;
- Strong knowledge of SAP Best Practices and Standards;
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in the documentation, analysis, research and design of solutions within a medium to large enterprise using SAP and a release management program;
- In depth knowledge of systems management, administration and project life cycle methodologies including implementation experience for at least one major project end to end;
- Possess experience leveraging tools such as SAP Solution Manager, as well as Google productivity tools (or similar) to design and document your changes;
