Pharmacist Opportunity

Nova Scotia Health is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team at St. Martha's Regional Hospital in Eastern Zone. As a member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will provide direct pharmaceutical care to inpatients and outpatients, participating in patient counseling, medication monitoring, and education.

About the Role

  • Graduate of a recognized School of Pharmacy
  • Eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia College of Pharmacists
  • Completion of a Hospital pharmacy residency program and/or equivalent direct patient care experience in a hospital setting

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct pharmaceutical care to inpatients and outpatients
  • Participate in patient counseling, medication monitoring, and education
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Contribute to clinical pharmacy research and quality improvement initiatives
