**Job Summary:**

  • Provide comprehensive health assessments and diagnose patients' conditions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain awareness of current trends and issues in healthcare and the NP profession.
  • Contribute to process change to increase efficiency and effectiveness of health services.
  • Participate in the development and evaluation of evidence-based protocols and guidelines.
  • Act as a consultant to registered nurses and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
  • Active registration as a nurse practitioner with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick.
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical practice experience as a NP within the last 5 years.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills in English.
