Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team at Magna International Inc. in ST. THOMAS. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, designing, developing, and continuously improving our equipment and technology to ensure the best quality parts are produced.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair electrical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Design and develop new equipment and processes to improve efficiency and quality
  • Work with a team to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • Electrical Certificate of Qualification (309A or 442A)
  • Minimum two years' experience as an Industrial Electrician
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
Benefits
  • $45.42 CAD per hour + Shift Premiums
  • Shifts rotate every 2 weeks between midnight, afternoon, and days
  • Shift Premiums of $0.85/hour (afternoons) and $1.35/hour (midnights)
