LifeLabs, a leading community diagnostics laboratory in Canada with over 50 years of experience, is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join their team in Terrace, BC.

This important role involves specimen collection, patient care, and contributing to the overall success of the business.

The ideal candidate will have completed a recognized Medical Laboratory Assistant program or have relevant experience in phlebotomy and healthcare.

Responsibilities include:
  • Greeting patients and explaining specimen collection procedures
  • Performing phlebotomies and ECG tracings
  • Handling special test collections and maintaining client relationships
  • Ensuring accurate data entry and specimen preparation

Requirements:
  • Completion of a Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent experience
