Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting live and prospective transaction mandates

  • Building and/or crafting sophisticated financial models and conducting economic assessments

Requirements:

  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the energy business, including corporate development, operations, investment banking, and/or equity research
  • Business or technical undergrad with post-secondary CFA or MBA credentials desirable
  • Strong time management, presentation, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with acquisition and divestment process lifecycle
  • Strong financial modelling skills in oil and gas including project evaluations, competitive analysis, and identification & analysis of new business opportunities
