Restaurant Manager Opportunity at Willibald Farm

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our restaurant operations at Willibald Farm, a growing farm distillery, brewery, and restaurant in Waterloo Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing a team of servers, hosts, and bartenders, and ensuring top-notch service and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of all hospitality-related activities, including working directly with our executive chef
  • Manage and train a team of servers, hosts, and bartenders to ensure exceptional service and hospitality
  • Address and resolve guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the guest experience and improve customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and manage restaurant budgets, including cost control, revenue generation, and inventory management
  • Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations
  • Enforce restaurant policies and procedures, including those related to safety and hygiene
  • Analyze guest feedback and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovative practices
  • Coordinate with marketing and events teams to plan and execute promotional activities and special events
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field (not required but an asset)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to build, inspire, and maintain a high-performing team
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine passion for delivering a memorable customer experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Must own a vehicle and possess a valid driver's license
