Job Summary

The Support Service Worker is responsible for providing exceptional service to patients, staff, and community partners. This includes maintaining a clean environment, providing food service, porter/laundry services, supply replenishment, equipment maintenance, transportation, and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide housekeeping and food service in a healthcare environment
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently
  • Transport patients and staff as needed
  • Provide security services as required
Requirements
  • Grade 10 education, Manitoba standards
  • Valid Class 5 Manitoba driver's license (desired)
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of cleaning practices and equipment
  • Knowledge of food preparation and equipment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work varying shifts and weekends
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work on feet for extended periods
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions
  • Ability to work at heights
