Job Summary

As a Produce Stocker at Walmart Canada, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers have access to fresh and high-quality produce. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining the produce area, stocking and rotating merchandise, and adhering to strict food safety and handling procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Zones the department to ensure efficient stock rotation and customer flow.
  • Rotates stock and checks for expired products to maintain product freshness and quality.
  • Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors and discrepancies.
  • Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
  • Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and ensures the department is fully stocked with merchandise.
  • Follows Health and Safety guidelines and applies product protection when required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods.
