About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tire Technician to join our team. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and assessing damaged or worn tires on vehicles, replacing or repairing damaged tires, and balancing or rotating tires.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and assess damaged or worn tires on vehicles
  • Replace or repair damaged tires
  • Balance or rotate tires
  • Shunt vehicles from plants to workshops
  • Process inventory and label tires into storage trailers
  • Filling out required paperwork for vehicle documentation
  • Comply with all safety procedures by taking an active approach to accident prevention
  • Assist mechanics with other workshop duties as needed

Requirements:

  • Highly motivated and able to work well independently
  • Physically able to carry out the duties of the position such as lifting tires and continuous movement throughout the shift
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management & customer service skills
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate detailed instructions orally and in writing
  • Professionalism to emphasize the customers "Respect for the individual"
