Parts Manager Trainee
Are you a high-performing Parts Advisor that looks to the future and sees yourself running your own Parts Department? Not sure how to make that goal a reality at your current store?
We have that roadmap for you here at Ernie Dean Chevrolet.
We are looking for a **Parts Advisor** that wants to move into management, that sees themselves running a high volume department and paying it forward to help develop and train other advisors to be at the top of their game.
And this is what makes this opportunity unique you would be trained from Day 1 to make that transition. We will be leveraging the decades of experience our current Parts Manager has to help train you to take over as he looks to retire in late 2025.
Ernie Dean Chevrolet in Alliston, ON is one of the top performing GM dealers in the area and we believe professional development from within helps to keep us growing and profitable.
- **That’s where you come in **_
The **Parts Advisor **will be working the counter, maintaining and replenishing stock, providing fast and friendly service to walk-in retail customers. Working closely with technicians and the shop foreman for fast, accurate quotes is essential to this job (but you already know that).
**What You Bring to the Table**:
- Current parts experience, preferably GM
- Parts catalogue guru (Snap On, Epic, etc)
- Deep experience with wholesale parts
- Tire sales experience (a BIG plus)
- Experience with Quorum DMS
- Love being part of a team and servant mentality with customers
- Ability to work Saturdays (but we’re not open every Saturday)
**Why You Should Join Us**:
- No fast management path at your current dealership
- A family atmosphere is just what you need to shine
- Career development matters to you
- You’re not happy with a slow parts desk - you want to be busy
- Commuting to GTA is taking a toll (if you work in that area)
**How we support you**:
- Health benefits within 90 days
- Competitive salary (we know everyone says that but we mean it)
- Ongoing professional development including management training from Day 1
- A commitment from upper management and ownership to help you reach the goal of Parts Manager
If you’re ready to make the leap to management but don’t have that opportunity where you are now, give us a call or just stop by we’d love to meet you
Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
**Experience**:
- Customer service: 1 year (required)
Work Location: In person
