Key Employee Supervisor

Under the direction of the General Manager, the Event Supervisor plays a key role in managing, preparing, and setting up the venue for events. This position is a leadership in training, where the incumbent will learn how to be an event manager while still being able to work serving/bartender shifts when not needed for managing shifts.
Key Responsibilities:- Communicate the vision to all team members and lead by example, reinforcing the company values daily and inspiring the team with a clear vision for the future.
- Support the management team in overall event management, including leading a team of servers and bartenders during events and responding to all concerns and needs as required.
- Build and maintain relationships with guests, team members, and senior management alike, creating a culture that revolves around the experience and enjoyment of food and wine.
- Use conflict resolution and problem-solving skills to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests.
- Assist in the preparation, setup, and maintenance of event spaces, including possessing a strong knowledge of event menu items.
- Follow bar, beverage, and wine control procedures exactly, responding promptly to guest requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Deliver food and beverage to the appropriate tables as directed by the management team, clearing plates, cutlery, and glasses from the tables and returning them to the dish area.
- Monitor food quality and presentation standards, regularly achieving the company's points of technical service and points of detail.
- Adhere to all company health and safety standards, performing additional duties as assigned or required.
- Minimum 1 year serving experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of service standards
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Smart Serve Certification a requirement
- High attention to detail
- Team Player
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
- Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain a level of professional momentum
- Available to work evenings, nights, and weekends
