Summary: Stores Clerk A assists with inventory management, distribution, and tracking of supplies in support of healthcare services.

The Stores Clerk A plays a crucial role in supporting healthcare services by assisting with the receiving, organization, distribution, replenishment, and tracking of inventories and supplies. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

About the Role

The Stores Clerk A will be responsible for:

  • Loading and unloading trucks, shipping, and receiving supplies
  • Distributing and replenishing inventories and supplies
  • Tracking and managing inventory levels
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Operating and maintaining equipment, such as electric pallet jacks and manual pallet jacks
  • Keeping the work area and dock clean
About You

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Working knowledge and proficiency with computer software and programs
  • Demonstrated planning, organizational, and priority setting skills
  • Ability to work in a self-directed environment and effectively within an interdisciplinary team
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of the SAP computer system is preferred
  • Previous experience in a central stores/purchasing environment is preferred
Hours and Compensation

This is a permanent full-time position with 70 hours bi-weekly. The hourly rate is $23.17.
