Key Responsibilities:- Manage and supervise a team of clinical counsellors, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Develop and implement clinical protocols and procedures, ensuring evidence-based practice and adherence to agency standards.
- Collaborate with the Director of Mental Health and Counselling Programs to develop and implement program plans and strategies.
- Provide training and professional development opportunities for the clinical team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide feedback to ensure a positive and supportive work culture.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective implementation of joint agreements.
- Provide leadership coverage in the absence of the Director, working closely with other Agency Managers and Coordinators.
- Master's Degree in Social Work or equivalent.
- Registered Social Worker Designation, Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers in good standing.
- Critical Incident Response (CIR) Certification.
- CBT certification preferred.
- Proven experience in supervising a diverse clinical team, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of Social Work.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and counselling skills.
- Strong advocacy skills on behalf of vulnerable individuals.
- Proven computer literacy and experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
