About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team at Konecranes. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at various customer locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic troubleshooting to determine the cause of equipment malfunction and establish necessary repairs.
  • Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists, adhering to corporate safety policies and guidelines.
  • Consult with customers regarding repair and safety-related issues, discussing recommendations to improve safety and productivity.
  • Complete and provide proper electronic documentation, obtaining customer signatures and acceptance.
  • Maintain regular communication with the service office and assigned coordinator, adhering to established practices.
  • Ensure all company-issued equipment, vehicles, and assets are in safe and proper working order.
Requirements
  • A recognized trade qualification as a Journeyman Electrician, Journeyman Millwright, or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in industrial electrical or mechanical technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Good computer, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent customer interaction skills.
  • Ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and walkways, with a valid driver's license and good driving record.

  • Salary range: $35 to $40 per hour, depending on experience.
