Sr. Manager TPRM Issues & Incidents Management (12 Month Contract)

The Sr. Manager, Global TPRM Issues and Incident Management, plays a critical role in the overall success of the Global Third Party Risk Management Program. This position ensures specific goals, plans, and initiatives are executed to support the team's business strategies and objectives. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring all activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures through the execution of the centralized effective challenge function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and align TPRM advice and counsel of incidents to ensure third-party risk assessment activities are in alignment with TPRM standards.
- Align accurate and timely communication with internal control partners to seek confirmation of services provided to the bank regarding incident impact.
- Work with the cybersecurity team, GPS, 1B, vendor management, and GPS to proactively align vendor outreach as required.
- Create third-party incident records in the supplier watchlist and input regular updates until the incident is resolved.
- Provide monthly reporting updates on the number of third-party incidents, their respective status, and advice and counsel provided.
- Support the development and maintenance of the Global TPRM Issues and Incident Management Standards.
- Lead a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of risk management experience in the financial services industry.
- Undergraduate degree in business, economics, finance; MBA or other graduate program in a related discipline would be an asset.
- Advanced understanding of the regulatory landscape with respect to third-party risk.
- Experience in leading dynamic and multifaceted projects.
- Judicious thinking and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication and social skills; ability to effectively socialize with senior/executive management.
- Demonstrated technical understanding of pertinent business areas.
