**Sustainability Engineering Intern**
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a Sustainability Engineering Intern to join our North America (NAM) projects organization, responsible for delivering projects that advance business operations initiatives, technical development efforts, and increasing efficiencies.
**About Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions:** Part of Veolia Group, Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions brings together experienced professionals to solve the world's most complex challenges related to water scarcity, quality, productivity, the environment, and energy.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and refine methodology for assessing Veolia WTS solutions from a sustainability standpoint, looking at impact on Greenhouse Gas emissions, water use, and waste generation.
- Apply the methodology on discrete commercial project quantifications to summarize the customer benefit surrounding the mentioned environmental impacts.
- Create and/or adapt project quantification tool to enable the NAM Projects team to perform discrete quantifications in a timely manner.
- In collaboration with VWTS Market Communities establish a means by which to report the sustainability impacts of our customer projects on aggregate for each market segment.
- Coordinate quarterly employee Sustainability Education sessions.
- Support the implementation of our sustainability impacts into marketing materials and customer proposals.
**Requirements:**
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related technical discipline, minimum completion of 2nd year.
- Good technical writing and oral communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to team and department projects.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks at hand.
- Comfortable with a fast-paced work environment.
- Able to network both internally and externally.
