About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect Lead to join our team at Targeted Talent. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of cloud and infrastructure architects to ensure successful project and initiative execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Cloud and Infrastructure Architects to ensure successful project and initiative execution.
  • Architecture Standards: Partner with Enterprise Architecture to establish and govern Cloud & Infrastructure architecture standards, frameworks, and guidelines.
  • Project Planning: Provide project sponsors with input on project plans, financial estimates, resourcing estimates, and business cases.
  • Cloud Transformation: Drive the execution of the Cloud Transformation program, including participation and leadership in the Cloud Center of Excellence (CoE).
  • Cloud Architecture CoE: Establish and lead a Cloud Architecture CoE as part of the Agile Transformation program.
  • Infrastructure Solutions: Define, design, and oversee the implementation of infrastructure solutions, focusing on high availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Security Measures: Collaborate with Information Security teams to implement robust security measures, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of architecture, configurations, and processes.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and certifications such as PCI DSS.
  • Incident Support: Provide support for escalated, complex incidents and problems impacting the organization and its merchants' critical workflows.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in software development, computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Over 7 years of managerial experience leading cloud and/or infrastructure architecture teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
  • Demonstrated experience in setting standards and operating strategies with a depth of expertise.
  • Working knowledge of cloud-native technologies and paradigms, including containers, microservices, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, GitOps.
  • Experience in designing and implementing VMWare and Nutanix HCI-based solutions.
  • Design and implementation experience with Software-defined Networks, including solutions based on Cisco ACI, F5, and Palo Alto.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional Agile environment.
  • Proficiency in payment systems and the merchant acquiring business is considered an asset.
