Marsh McLennan, a leading professional services firm, is seeking a Cloud Architecture Infrastructure Lead to join its Global Enterprise Architecture team. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's cloud infrastructure strategy and design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide cloud architectural infrastructure leadership for the enterprise, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical strategies.
  • Design and architect cloud infrastructure solutions across various cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, Oracle, and Google.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement infrastructure as code (IAC) components and recipes that enable business solution teams.
  • Partner with security and compliance teams to design effective guardrails for cloud architecture.
  • Leverage standard engineering approaches to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and run architectural and design workshops for colleagues and customers.
  • Communicate technical development and delivery status to stakeholders, suggesting alternatives and mitigating risks.
  • Assess and report on the business impact of technical choices.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in architecting cloud adoption and migrations for large enterprises in AWS.
  • Clear understanding of cloud best practices and anti-patterns.
  • 5+ years of experience designing infrastructure as code solutions for the cloud using Azure ARM templates, CloudFormation, and/or Terraform.
  • Strong ability to select the best cloud PaaS approach to maximize business value, resilience, and performance while minimizing costs.
  • Passionate about technology and finding effective solutions for complex problems.
  • Self-motivated and driven for excellence.
  • Thirst for knowledge and continuous improvement.
  • Able to operate at scale and with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong technical background and ability to engage in technical architectural conversations.
  • Excellent written English and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work collaboratively with technical peers from all divisions across MMC.

  • Good organizational skills and ability to create plans and follow up on tasks assigned to others.
Preferred Qualifications
  • AWS/Azure architecture certifications.
  • Agile/Scrum experience.
  • CICD pipeline and declarative deployment experience.
