Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is seeking an experienced, organised, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Facilities Engineering & Property Management Manager. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in Managing a multitude of Trade disciplines. Must be a Licensed Tradesperson with a Provincial Certificate of Qualification issued under the Apprenticeship and Occupational Certification Act. Knowledge of automated Building Management Systems, Preventative Maintenance Software, mechanical aptitude with strong leadership skills.

Who you are

You have worked in Building Maintenance Management, Engineering or Construction Industry for a minimum of 5 years. You have experience in Project Management, Workflow scheduling, Budget preparations, Capital Equipment Procurement, Infrastructure Improvement Planning and Preventative Maintenance programs. You have a high proficiency level in Microsoft Office applications.

You are a licensed tradesperson, and you possess a Red Seal designation or Provincial Certificate of Qualification issued under the Apprenticeship and Occupational Certification Act.

Written and spoken competence in English is required at an advanced level.

What you will do

  • Managing the daily operation and maintenance of the physical plant systems and/or managing building and facility maintenance operation
  • Planning, prioritizing and assigning work
  • Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and standards
  • Ensuring that all systems are operated to meet or exceed acts and regulations
  • Ensuring all systems and equipment are maintained to provide reliable operation
  • Recording and maintaining operational records and documentation
  • Participating in preparing, monitoring and reporting on budgets.
